A craft beer pub in Poznań city centre
Lot Chmiela is a bar at Żydowska 4 in the Old Town, a few minutes’ walk from the Old Market Square.
Craft beer on tap, Guinness on draught and a beer garden.
Around the world in 80 beers
Above the bar hangs the sign “W 80 piw dookoła świata” (“Around the World in 80 Beers”), a balloon lamp hangs from the ceiling and there’s a world map in the corner. The name Lot Chmiela (“Hop Flight”) and the balloon in our logo are a nod to Jules Verne’s “Around the World in Eighty Days”.
Only here you travel by beer. The taps rotate through styles and breweries from Poland and around the world, and the bar staff will tell you where to fly next: from pils and sours to imperial stouts.
Lot Chmiela is on the same street as Wściekły Chmiel and belongs to the same family as Moczybroda Brewery, the Hop-Drop shop and MISKUZI pizzeria. That’s why you’ll always find a few Moczybroda beers on tap, and wood-fired pizza to go with them.

Lot Chmiela is a pub in Poznań city centre that works just as well for a quick pint as for a party for the whole department.
Companies book their parties with us because everything is in one place: the bar room and the garden, a projector, a company Family Fortunes, casino night, a quiz or a beer tasting for groups, pizza and a VAT invoice. The Old Market Square is a few minutes’ walk away, so getting home afterwards is easy.
Planning a team building night, a department outing or a company party for an anniversary? Family Fortunes or casino night will get the team going better than a conference room, and a group beer tasting will show the difference between a pils and a stout. From the centre it’s an easy tram ride home.
For birthdays we reserve tables in the garden or the whole pub just for you. And on an ordinary Thursday? Take a seat at the bar, ask for a taster and pick your beer for the night.
